Kerala State Lotteries and other State Lotteries

The ticket price for each lottery is Rs. 40 and the first prize ranges from Rs. 50 lakhs to Rs. 1 crore. The draw for each lottery is held at 3:00 PM every day at Gorky Bhavan, Near Bakery Junction, Thiruvananthapuram .

In addition to the weekly lotteries, Kerala State Lotteries also runs several seasonal 'bumper' lotteries that offer higher prizes and are held on special occasions. The names of the bumper lotteries are Xmas, Summer, Vishu, Monsoon, Thiruvonam and Pooja. The ticket price for these lotteries varies from Rs. 100 to Rs. 300 and the first prize ranges from Rs. 3 crores to Rs. 12 crores.

Kerala State Lotteries is regulated by the Directorate of Kerala State Lotteries under the Taxes Department of the Government of Kerala. The directorate is responsible for printing, distributing, selling and drawing the lottery tickets. It also ensures the transparency and fairness of the lottery system and provides timely payment of prizes to the winners.
